Auburn Gresham streetscape plan includes short stretch of curb-protected bike lanes

The streetscape project on 79th Street in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood, including a possible curb-protected bike lane treatment on a couple blocks of Halsted.

While the bike lanes will calm traffic and help organize the street mid-block, the road will balloon to five lanes for drivers at stoplight intersections.
